Périgord Beers British craft beers, brewed in Périgord Vert

Périgord Beers is on its way to becoming an important and recognized microbrewery in the local craft beer world. Our traditional brewery is a family business which sits in a beautiful setting, tucked away on the edge of a pond next to an old mill in the Dordogne. Founded in 2015 by us, Mike and Val Povey, and Mike's cousin, Lorraine Whitear, Périgord Beers is the result of our dream of opening our own 900L microbrewery. Our first commercial beer went into production in 2016.

We only use the best quality raw materials, we create our own natural CO2 for the secondary fermentation, in the bottle as well as in the barrel, we respect nature and the environment at every stage, and we even sometimes use plants picked in our garden to create truly unique flavors.

Starting with just two craft beers, our business and products continue to grow. Our goal is to become a significant contributor to the history of beer making in our region, and beyond. And we got off to a good start!
