Restaurant, performance and concert hall in Douchapt
Between Périgueux and Ribérac, in the northwest of the Dordogne, Douchapt is a friendly village, which welcomes the no less warm Des Bouches et des Oreilles (DBDO for short). A restaurant with a hall for shows and concerts that thrills the hearts and ears of its customers, regulars or passing through. The chef concocts delicious dishes, all homemade, healthy and gourmet cuisine and always a starter and a main course for vegetarian customers. Fresh products, from the market gardener and sublimated with herbs, spices and aromatic scents, we enjoy!
Take a seat in the beautiful interior room with exposed beams, but the little extra (which cannot be seen from the road) is the terrace and its garden. The entrance, which is on the village side, does not suggest such a beautiful and spacious space on the other side. An equipped outdoor stage is permanently installed for sunny days as well as an indoor stage in a performance hall, here we play all year round... with an interesting cultural and musical programme. You will understand, Des Bouches et Des Oreilles, people come here to eat and to listen (and see). To accompany your delicious plates, a selection of good wines and cold beers.
