  Le Bistrot du Clocher is a very pleasant Café Restaurant, located in the center of the pretty village of Pomport. Installed in the old village post office, completely renovated to make it a bright and friendly restaurant, it is the ideal place for a break during your visits to the Bergerac area. Pomport is a commune covered with vines, on the slopes of Bergerac, a grape is produced there which, among other things, will give birth to the delicious Monbazillac.
  
  Come and taste simple and elegant dishes, well presented to awaken your senses and your appetite. Run by Fred and his team, Le Bistrot du Clocher offers quality bistro cuisine, with fresh, local and well-prepared products. You will enjoy coming with your family or for a business meal. This place was so unexpected but absolutely outstanding. We nipped in for dinner expecting a burger and chips and were blown away by the quality. The owner and staff are delightful, absolutely lovely. The food came super quick, it was such good value and it was impeccable. Totally delicious and presented beautifully, great value for money. Will absolutely be back on our next visit to the area!

I just visited here for second time with my friend. It is a lovely little hidden gem I didn't know about for a long time and very close to where I live. Great food. Very friendly staff and good service. The restaurant itself is located in such a pretty little spot in Pomport. The outdoor dining when the sun is shining is gorgeous. Great and very inviting for everyone to enjoy whether you are a small group, or a couple, or a large group, if you have dogs or children. The rugby was on inside the bar when we were there so another bonus to this place if you want somewhere local to go and watch sport with a drink and some nice food. You can even just have some tapas to share with your friends . Highly recommend this place. It ticks every box.

My husband and I had a really good lunch here on Friday. It was our first visit and definitely won't be the last. There was a lunch menu de jour at 22 euros for 3 courses. Each course had 2 choices - one Meat, one vegetarian for the starter and one fish for the main. The quality of the food and cooking was outstanding. Between us we had the whole menu and it was all great. It's not the traditional workers' lunch offered in lots of local restaurants and is a bit more expensive - but it is worth it. Wine is extra - we paid 4 euros a glass for good quality, relatively local, wine. The decor is simple but stylish and the service was really friendly. I think in the evening it may just be Tapas so worth checking - Tapas is also available for lunch. Thank you, a great new local find for us.
