    • The Pays de Fénelon is one of the gateways to the Périgord Noir, bordering the Lot and Corrèze regions. While exploring our hiking trails (300 km of paths), meet our producers (truffles, foie gras, walnuts, and other local products) and indulge in the temptation.

Today, ideal for swimming and water sports, the area is crossed to the south by the emblematic Dordogne River, classified as a World Biosphere Reserve. Bordered by a Green Way, where walkers and cyclists discover the beauty of the landscapes throughout the seasons, the Pays de Fénelon is a vast space of freedom and conviviality for nature lovers.

This valley, rich in possibilities, leads you to discover castles and gardens but also to a particularly rich and preserved flora and fauna.

Stroll through the narrow streets of Périgord villages with their slate roofs. Lose yourself in the twists and turns of French-style or exotic gardens. Let yourself be captivated by the architecture of medieval castles and churches. The Pays de Fénelon blends history and heritage to offer you a timeless escape off the beaten track.

Located in Rouffillac de Carlux, in the Robert Doisneau train station, the Tourist Office team welcomes you all year round to provide information and advice. A hybrid, modern place, where the services offered allow tourists and locals to meet. You will find all the necessary tourist information, free Wi-Fi, digital tools and a team at your service. Not forgetting, of course, a souvenir shop and a café/restaurant for your refreshments.

Friendly welcome. I found all the information I needed, and there's plenty of documentation available! The premises are beautiful, and restrooms are available, shared with the brewery next door. The greenway is right behind the tourist office!
