  We booked the day before our trip for 6 adults and 2 kids. We did the 7km trip in 2 hours with a couple of breaks for swimming. Easy to find and helpful staff. The current got stronger the closer we got to the end which meant a lot of paddling! A storage container is available to keep belongings in on your kayak or canoe whilst you paddle. We would not hesitate to recommend this trip 😊

  We put together a 3 day canoe itinerary and Fred, at Pro 24, gave us all the information and assistance we needed. He could not have been more helpful and flexible. From the rental office at Gardonne, we were taken up river to Bergerac. 2 hrs back to Gardonne (11 km), where we had a picnic lunch in the riverside gazebos. 2.5 hours after lunch to Port Ste. Foy (14.5km) where we had accommodation overnight. Day 2: Just over 2 hours to Pessac-sur-Dordogne (14.5 km), where we had a lovely lunch at the Palma Nova restaurant right on the river bank. 2 hours (12km) after lunch to Castillon de Bataille. Overnight nearby. Day 3: We were intending to spend the morning on the river to Branne, which is the extent of the navigable river at this point. Fred warned us of a storm coming in at lunchtime (an example of his constant attention and assistance). So we arranged to meet him at St. Jean de Blaignac (9 km) after 1.5 hours where he collected the canoes and dropped us off at our nearby accommodation. A perfect trip. Very few canoes after Gardonne. In fact we saw more Herons and Egrets than humans over the 3 days. This is more than just canoe rental at Pro 24. It is a complete service from Fred and his team. Merci Beaucoup Fred.

  Me and my girlfriend did 3 days worth of trips along the Dordogne with this company. The routes were extremely enjoyable during which we saw many large fish (1m +) and beautiful scenery. Furthermore, there were plenty of places to dock and take a dip in the river. The company itself was very pleasant to work with and the language barrier between English and French was acceptable. Overall a definite recommendation when in the area.
