    • Traditional Périgord cuisine in a warm atmosphere: Le Bistrot du Presbytère

Just 10km from Bergerac, the charming little village of Queyssac offers a delightful and idyllic dining experience. For a bucolic and gourmet break, consider booking a table at Le Bistrot du Presbytère. This family-run restaurant, where a smile graces both the service and the food, will delight you with its simple yet generous cuisine, prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Settle in on the terrace, under the large parasols, in a convivial atmosphere. Inside, two lovely dining rooms await. Le Bistrot du Presbytère is housed in a traditional Périgord building, fully renovated, with beautiful exposed stone walls.

On your plate, you 'll find regional classics as well as bistro fare : beautiful salads, prime cuts of meat from the butcher, the catch of the day, and duck prepared in various ways (duck breast, foie gras, confit), all accompanied by a delicious soup and indulgent desserts. It's truly home-style cooking that will evoke Proust's madeleine, with simple yet refined flavors, perfectly seasoned. Ample parking is available near the restaurant, and the establishment is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Here, everything is on the plate, but the prices are very reasonable. You'll be surprised by the bill, especially considering you enjoyed a wonderful meal with family or friends. Afterwards, take the opportunity to explore the region ! Queyssac is located north of Bergerac, putting you within easy reach of the entire Bergerac wine region, with its castle tours, wine tastings, and the chance to discover the city of Cyrano. Further east lies the Dordogne Valley with its major tourist attractions : gardens, medieval castles, hiking trails, charming villages

Fantastic restaurant, perfect for a group! The traditional dishes are generous portions, and the set menu (starter, main course, dessert) is very reasonably priced. Everything was excellent, from the appetizer to the dessert. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, both inside and out. The large terrace allows you to enjoy your meal without being too bothered by noise, even when it's busy. The ample parking is also a real plus. We'll definitely be back! 👌

We visited on a Friday at lunchtime during the heatwave at the end of June. We had specifically booked an indoor table after confirming the presence of air conditioning. The result: seated in the conservatory, the air conditioning unit proved to be undersized and poorly positioned. It was just as hot inside as outside, but without the air. The space being cramped and full, the noise level was akin to that of a cafeteria, which is unacceptable given the prices charged. Thermal and acoustic comfort was nonexistent. The service was excessively slow: we arrived at 12:10 pm and left at 2:30 pm. In such uncomfortable conditions, the wait became an ordeal. As for the food, the experience was very average. The soup was sorely lacking in seasoning and was quite bland. The steak tartare (the chef's suggestion) was nothing special, and the fries, completely uninteresting, remained mostly on the plate. Only the dessert (strawberries) was good. The only notable positive point was the generous portions, which were particularly hearty. The outdoor setting and the small village of Queyssac are certainly charming, and the terrace must be pleasant in warmer weather, but the overall experience inside doesn't make me want to return.

This is an excellent restaurant with regional food at a reasonable price. It’s in a tiny village with tables outside under a tree at the back, with free parking over a stream nearby. We enjoyed...
