About

  • English
    • Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère is a charming little village where you can rest in peace away from the hustle and bustle of big cities, if not every year during the music festival.

Stroll along its pretty little alleys or on the banks of the Vézère, which are particularly well-appointed, and above all, visit its church built on the remains of a Gallo-Roman villa, which was part of a Benedictine priory founded in the 12th century. It is probably one of the most remarkable Romanesque churches in the department.

Also discover the Castle of Clérans from the 15th and 16th centuries and the Castle of the Salle and its magnificent square keep from the 14th century in the central square.

Nearby, visit the prehistoric leisure park of Conquil. (see for this our chapter "Theme Parks").
