    • In the heart of the Périgord Noir, the Domaine de Vielcroze perpetuates the know-how of walnuts and truffles, emblems of a Périgord region that is celebrated. It is at the foot of the majestic castle of Castelnaud, in an 18th century farmhouse, that the Walnut Ecomuseum has been established, surrounded by a 7-hectare organic walnut grove. The estate's truffle farm, nearby, offers you an initiatory approach to unraveling the mystery of the black diamond of Périgord, with a succulent tasting at the end of the journey. Our restaurant, La Cour du Moulin, welcomes you for artisanal Périgord specialties. More than a dive into the heart of ancient know-how, the Vielcroze estate is an ode to the outdoors, a celebration of good things and a haven of conviviality in Périgord Noir. Welcome !


      Entertainment:

      We invite you to attend the pressing of the oil in our traditional mill:
       • In July and August, Monday to Friday from 2 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
      • In April, May, June, September, October and school holidays, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

      The visit of the truffle is by reservation only:
       • In July and August: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 3.30 pm – Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 am.
      • In April, May, June, September, October and school holidays: Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30 p.m.

      Prices :

      For the Walnut Ecomuseum:
      - Adults: 5€
      - Children (10 to 17 years old): 4€
      - Children (under 10): free

      For the Vielcroze truffle:
      - Adults: 5€

      Croustous in addition: 3€ per adult or child

      Schedule :

      • From 01/04 to 11/11 and during school holidays: from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
      • Last admission 1 hour before closing.
      • From 01/11 to 31/03 (excluding school holidays) only the shop is open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday inclusive.
