  What a fabulous example of both the “chateau forte” (old military fort) and the “chateau plaisance” (house for living in and enjoying)! We love taking a picnic & bottle of wine in nice weather & enjoying on the grounds below the chateau- a wonderful spot for sure!

  What a sublime castle. The exteriors, the only thing visible until then about this castle, maintained a certain curiosity among tourists and locals (including us). On this occasion we were able to discover the interior with its splendid gardens and its magnificent panoramic views of the Beynac castle and the Marqueyssac gardens (see the few photos). We are delighted to have been able to attend this heritage day. A big thank you to the owner and organizers for allowing the opening to the public.

  Private castle, cannot be visited but is definitely worth stopping there if only to admire it from the road. Superb chapel below.
