Bear scratches, animal engravings, enigmatic signs, this cave tells the story of the life of
first men, as well as the geological phenomena that shaped the Dordogne.

Decorated cave from the Upper Paleolithic, this listed cave is located in the Vézère valley, a few minutes from the Parc du Bournat.

It is of geological interest, notably due to its eccentric concretions, and especially prehistoric, due to the parietal engravings it contains. It takes its name from an onomatopoeia of the local Occitan which means "badaboum" in reference to collapsed blocks visible in the first room. Private property open to the public, it was classified as a historic monument in 1961.
