    • Located in the heart of the Vézère Valley, between Montignac-Lascaux and Les Eyzies-de-Tayac, this authentic and listed archaeological site presents rock shelters occupied by our hunter-gatherer ancestors. These deposits allow you to understand the daily life of homo sapiens through quality guided tours and you can also experience their daily life through numerous activities (thrower shooting, wall painting, fire lighting, etc.).

      You can also visit one of the rare shelters decorated with sculptures still open to visitors. This site has been the subject of numerous archaeological excavations. Its collections include thousands of items of adornment, including mammoth ivory beads, perforated marine shells, and pierced animal teeth.

      For groups (minimum 15 people), visits are available year-round by reservation. In this case, an entertainment program is proposed and chosen with the organizers.

    The tour provided very interesting explanations. The guide taught us lots of fascinating things. The painting and jewelry-making activities were very fun for both children and adults. A great family atmosphere!

    A superb experience. It's educational, didactic, instructive, and interactive, but also accessible to all audiences for explanations and understanding. It's an association, therefore, with volunteers who share their knowledge and passion with you. A wonderful family experience.

    A nice look at the way Cro Magnon man lived. You even get a chance to throw a spear with an atlatle and test your hunting skills. Mine weren't so good.
