This property also houses a 15th-century manor house where you will discover furniture and collections arranged in a cabinet of curiosities ranging from clocks and herbal remedies to legends of fantastic animals…

Visit to a keep and a manor house, listed as historical monuments

Part of the Donjon, Manor House and Garden of the Salle has been a listed historical monument since 1957, and the wings have been renovated by the owners since the 1970s . Inhabited since the Middle Ages, the Donjon resonates with the lives of its former owners. Stroll through the kitchen and admire the preserved features, which have witnessed countless delicious dishes being prepared: the fireplace, the stone sink, the earthen floor. In the great hall, you can almost picture the guests seated at the table, the clinking of cutlery, and the gentle warmth of the fire in the hearth. Open your eyes to all the little details that surround you…

From the lovely gardens, admire the heavy slate roof, then climb to the top to walk along the old rampart walk and enjoy a splendid view of the village. In summer, you will appreciate the welcome shade of the giant cedar, which is the pride of the house, but also of the village, as everyone can enjoy its majestic branches.

Summer evening events and shows at the Keep, Manor and Garden of the Salle

During the spring holidays, we are offering 5 performances of a magic show : The Galactic Magician's Journey with Rémy Marvély, comedian and magician. The star of the show is Léonos, his blue dragon !

Throughout the summer, every Wednesday evening during the school holidays, the Donjon, Manoir et Jardin de la Salle offers a magical and dreamlike show during its evening events. The site welcomes you ( picnics are permitted on site from 7:30 pm) and from 9:30 pm onwards, a poetic stroll of over an hour will take place in the gardens, accompanied by a theatre troupe.

Throughout the summer, every Wednesday evening during the school holidays, the Donjon, Manoir et Jardin de la Salle offers a magical and dreamlike show as part of its evening events. The site welcomes you ( picnics are permitted on site from 7:30 pm) and from 9:30 pm onwards, a poetic stroll of over an hour will take place in the gardens, accompanied by a theatre troupe.

A snack bar will be open all day for you to eat on site, enjoy quality food on the go and have a refreshing drink (open to everyone, even without an entry ticket)
