This beautiful 17th century building belonged to Pierre de Bourdeille, a famous writer known under the name of Brantôme, for his novel "Les dames galantes". It is a private property and it is the owners who show you around this authentic residence.

    Excellent visit, beautiful chateaux,grounds and artefacts, the guided tour was excellent. A part of this place is still lived in by family.

    We visited the castle yesterday my daughters and I, very pleasant visit the castle is beautiful and the explanations are very clear. Thank you also for the warm welcome.
