Le sentier descend vers la rivière, remonte vers le hameau de la Gondie, traverse une forêt de chênes truffiers et est jalonné de bories, offrant une randonnée bucolique sur le causse.
Depuis le panneau d’appel situé près de la mairie descendre vers la route Périgueux-Excideuil, la traverser puis poursuivre tout droit. Franchir le pont puis prendre le chemin tout de suite à gauche.
