Nestled in the charming village of Valojoulx, near the famous Lascaux caves, the Moulin de la Mailleraie seduces with its green setting and flowing water.

Formerly a carding mill, cheese dairy and restaurant, this place steeped in history has preserved the charm of its origins while offering modern comfort to travelers seeking tranquility.

The owners

Originally from the North of France, owners Philippe and Alison succumbed to the charms of the Dordogne a few years ago. They decided to settle down at the Moulin de la Mailleraie in January 2023 to offer their guests a unique and authentic experience. They will be delighted to share with you their favorite places and discoveries of the region.
