  Maison Sérénité is a detached holiday home located in Marsalès, a few minutes from the fortified town of Monpazier, in the southern Dordogne. Designed for families and groups, it accommodates up to 10 people in four bedrooms. Guests enjoy a private saltwater swimming pool, a large, secure garden, and on-site parking.
  The house provides a comfortable base for exploring the fortified towns, castles, markets, villages, and vineyards of Périgord and Bergerac. Its owners, Tony and Niki, personally prepare each stay and share their local recommendations to help visitors make the most of the region.

Maison Sérénité is a beautiful property and a fabulous location for a chance for a well earned rest! If you're in two minds...dont be. The villa itself is beautifully furnished and equipped and is cleaned to very high standards! The outdoor pool is beautifully designed and absolutely perfect for lazing away a hot afternoon. Alternatively you can enjoy the airconditioned living area or even enjoy a nap...enhanced by the thoughtful provision of a fan in every bedroom! The local village is beautiful and just moments away by car. For a more French feel, you can cycle in on one of the many bikes provided at the villa. This is still less than 10 minutes. Our hosts, Niki and Tony are lovely people who have thought of everything...a pool, pool toys, an outdoor bar and even a table under the shade of a tree at which to enjoy some beautiful French pastries! Thank you so much to you both for an amazing stay!!

From the arrival at the airport (Bergerac- small and quiet!), quick collection of the hire car and easy directions, we arrived within a comfortable 45 minutes. Greeted by clean and open grounds, "Bar Bamboo" and a very enticing swimming pool, we couldn't wait to start our holiday! Every room was immaculate, the kitchen has all the tools you need for a comfortable self-cater and air-con (main living area) and fans throughout, we were able to stave off the ~39deg heat! The pool was the star of the show for sure! Enough seating and beds for all and the Lilo's made for some fun times :-) The fact that there are enough courtesy bikes for everyone (kids too!) meant that most evenings (and bakery mornings) we could travel the 1km into Monpazier at leisure. The choice of local restaurants was great and provided great examples of the French cuisine! As a location it works so well... there are many points of local interest, no 'hustle and bustle' and great for bike riders due to the mainly flat roads. We actually felt like we had a holiday! Thanks for such a great experience- we will be back! :-)

We stayed at Maison Serenite for our family holiday this year. The property was perfect; spacious, clean and just 1 km from Monpazier, so perfect for a trip for croissants in the morning! We really enjoyed exploring the local area and cooling off in the pool helped to create some great holiday memories.
