- Le Hameau de la Borie (family business) is located a few kilometers from Sarlat, a medieval city and capital of the Périgord Noir.
  It takes its name from the presence on its site of a Borie, a dry stone hut, listed as a Historic Monument.
  
  Ideal location for many visits: Lascaux caves, castles of Fénelon, Castelnaud, Milandes, Proumeyssac chasm, Marqueyssac and Erignac gardens, Carsac-Aillac Water Gardens, medieval villages of Domme, Beynac, etc.
  
  Small holiday residence consisting of 10 comfortable gîtes, including 9 rated ***, made of wood around a large, heated and secure swimming pool. Ideal for holidays with family or friends.
  
  The gîtes at Hameau de la Borie meet the "High Environmental Quality" standard, benefit from very advanced insulation and reversible air conditioning. Topped with a Périgord roof with small old tiles, they blend perfectly into the landscape.
  
  Each Gîte includes:
  - 3 bedrooms, one with a 160 cm bed
  - 2 bathrooms, with shower cubicle, sink, storage
  - 2 toilets, one of which is separate
  - a fully equipped kitchen
  - a terrace with garden furniture, barbecue, relaxation area and parasol
  - quality bedding: sleeps 6
  - air conditioning & heating
  - television & free high-speed internet.
  Large heated (during the summer period) and secure swimming pool of 16 m x 8 m with large sunbathing areas, sun loungers and parasols.
  
  Adjacent to the estate, the "I Feel Wood" treetop adventure park offers special rates.
  4 kilometers from the village of Carsac-Aillac where the Dordogne flows and where you will find many shops (bakery, butcher, supermarket, pharmacy, brasserie, restaurant, etc.).
  1.5 km from a group of producers (bread, dairy products, meat, fish, vegetables, fruits... seasonal and local)
  
  Prices:
  - Gîte for people with reduced mobility: from €475 to €1,050 per week depending on the season + compulsory end-of-stay cleaning: €40
  - Gîte for 6 people: from €650 to €1,330 per week depending on the season + compulsory end-of-stay cleaning: €45
  In "high season" and "very high season" (July to September), rentals are only available by the week (from Sunday 3 p.m. to Sunday 10 a.m.).
  In "low season" and "mid season", rental from 2 nights.

What a pleasure to find yourself in one of these cleverly designed little wooden chalets. All the comforts are there. You're in the heart of a forest that rejuvenates all the senses. A well-fenced swimming pool, ideal when you have young children, is right in front of your chalet. It's truly the perfect place for families, groups of friends, and even for yoga groups who can practice in the park. The proximity to I Feel Wood means you can stay without using a car. I'll definitely be back, especially since we received such a warm welcome from Agathe and her family.

A warm welcome. The chalets are very well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. Swimming pool, pétanque court, ping-pong table. I highly recommend it.
