Just 10 minutes from the Medieval City of Sarlat in the Périgord Noir, Les Chênes de Calviac welcomes you to a village of country cottages, in the middle of the forest, in a quiet and very preserved environment. Bastien and Colette will be your hosts for a very friendly stay with family or friends. The village consists of 10 rural cottages of approximately 45m², suitable for accommodating 4 to 6 people. All the accommodations are similar, they are harmoniously scattered over a 1ha wooded park, without any vis-à-vis to preserve privacy: 2 bedrooms (single and one double), a large living room/kitchen/dining room and a shower room with separate WC are available in each cottage.

On the estate, the holm oaks provide welcome shade for settling in, relaxing and walking in the forest. The Domaine des Chênes de Calviac is private and has a heated swimming pool from May to September. With its wooden beach furnished with deckchairs and parasols, it will be the ideal place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Children will be delighted to go and play in the playground on the lawn, while parents enjoy an aperitif while playing a game of pétanque or ping pong. Near the swimming pool, a bar serves drinks, ice creams and in a large, warm indoor room there is a pool table and table football. Sit down for a drink while playing board games or consulting one of the books in the library.

In the middle of the greenery, the Domaine des Chênes de Calviac also offers a quality restaurant, open to residents but also to passing gourmets. Local, local and fresh products, come and taste a tasty traditional family cuisine from starter to dessert. Les Chênes de Calviac is a holiday accommodation in Périgord Noir ideally located to go and discover the region. In the immediate vicinity, you can visit the Calviac Reserve with animals from all over the world. The Carsac-Aillac Water Gardens promise you a beautiful day of family walks to discover flowers and aquatic vegetation. Hiking is available everywhere in the immediate vicinity of the forest, as well as beautiful treasure hunt -type walks with Tèrra Aventura (a geocaching game that children love). In terms of visits, you are only 10 minutes from Sarlat and 25 minutes from the Vézère Valley and its exceptional heritage and cultural sites. The Dordogne Valley is about twenty minutes away, with the emblematic villages of Beynac, La Roque Gageac, Domme … The Châteaux and gardens will no longer hold any secrets for you!
