Les Suites sarladaises, charming holiday apartments, are located in the historic center of Sarlat-la-Canéda.

Oozing authenticity, the apartments are in the ancient "Hotel de Leydis", an imposing structure of medieval origin, refurbished in the 17th century as the home of magistrates of the Leydis family who presided over judicial affairs in the adjoining "Presidial", the royal court of justice which adjoins the building. Over the ages, these and other judges were housed in the building's stylish period rooms.

Les Suites sarladaises consists of 5 upscale self-catering units (2 apartments and 3 studios), open all year to travelers for weekly rentals.

Each of the three floors of our guest house will enchant you with its different spell:

- On the first floor, there is the rustic 17th century charm in "Le Griffon Suite" (35 m²), with its old cooking fireplace and stone sink, yet across the stair landing in the huge apartment, "La Licorne Suite" (85 m²), there is upscale Louis XV elegance, with a marble mantel in the living room, a carved wooden one in the bedroom, and a bathroom that would make Madame du Barry jealous.

- On the second floor, "Le Phénix Suite" (35 m²) features a Directoire fireplace surrounded by early 19th century woodwork, while the magnificent apartment across the hall, "La Salamandre Suite" (85 m²), has the feel of the Grand Siècle: two monumental Louis XIV wooden chimneybreasts dominate the salon and the bedroom, and each of the rooms is adorned with hand-painted décor and soaring French windows. Here too, one finds the wrought iron balcony.

- The third floor has a different feel - that of an artist's atelier, with its dormer view of the tiled rooftops and chimney pots of old Sarlat. Here one finds a cozy and intimate atmosphere in "Le Caladrius Suite" (26 m²), with the brass & iron canopied bed.
