The house has two entrances, the first one on the same level on an outside street, with access to a parking lot to park 2 cars, the second one overlooking the main square of the medieval city. By staying at the Maison du Notaire Royale, you will discover all the soul, the history and the cachet of these elegant, warm and welcoming town houses. In the rooms, a careful and deliberately romantic decoration with antique furniture. The rooms benefit from a very beautiful height under ceiling, they all have double beds of 160cm and a bed linen of quality, a bathroom and privative WC (free wifi). You will appreciate the silence of the place, the calm is remarkable even though you are in the heart of the city! Your days will start with a copious and attentive breakfast, included in the price of the room.
In the common areas, a microwave and a refrigerator as well as cutlery are at the disposal of the guests. Nearby, the Périgord Noir offers itself to you, with on one side the Vézère Valley (La Vallée de l'Homme) and its patrimonial sites, and on the other side, the Dordogne Valley and its castles, gardens, and pretty charming villages. There is no shortage of activities, apart from gastronomy, you can go cycling on the green way of Sarlat, go canoeing, go for a ride in a gabarre, go hiking, or simply enjoy the gentle way of life of the Périgord!
