The house offers large common areas, conducive to exchanges - cozy lounge with bar area and fireplace, dining room with coffee from small producers selected from a local roaster, Maison Layac, kettle and choice of teas and herbal teas from Palais des thés.

A swimming pool with an incredible view of the Dordogne valley and its castles

The heated swimming pool is open from mid-April to mid-October, weather permitting, and features a terrace with a lovely view of the Dordogne River and the Château des Milandes, the former home of Joséphine Baker.

Five charming, comfortable and decorative guest rooms

Each room features a private bathroom with a bathtub or walk-in shower, and comfortable bedding made in France. Each has its own decorative touch, combining 1950s or vintage furniture with antiques found at flea markets.

A gourmet table d'hôtes with homemade cuisine

The table d'hôtes, offered three evenings a week, features cuisine entirely homemade by Stéphanie, the hostess, and prepared with locally sourced, primarily organic, ingredients. Once a week, dinner is vegetarian.

Hot air balloon rides with boarding from the property

In the summer, if you wish, you can take to the skies by flying in one of their hot air balloons , directly from the garden of the guest house and fly over the Château de Beynac to Castelnaud or the gardens of Marqueyssac , the Château des Milandes and the Dordogne River or the valley to the small town of Saint Cyprien in Périgord, depending on the wind. Truffle weekends and cooking workshops in winter

Between December and February, cooking workshops are offered to guests staying on site to cook the flavors of Périgord: foie gras, truffles, etc. And in January, truffle stays are organized on weekends with a visit to the Sarlat truffle market and a visit to the medieval city, searching for truffles in a truffle field, a truffle dinner prepared by a local chef and a special truffle cooking workshop .
