Horses and armor through the ages
- Lightness of medieval armor: Contrary to popular belief, a knight's armor weighed approximately 25 kg, well distributed to ensure good mobility. Jousting armor, more imposing, sometimes weighed between 50 and 80 kg.
- Diversity of horses in the Middle Ages : From the powerful destrier to the swift steed, each horse had a specific role. Jousts required robust mounts, capable of supporting the weight of the knight and his equipment, while remaining agile.
