  Le Vieux Logis is a gem that is nestled within the charming little town of Tremolat. We found it to be a perfect location for exploring the beautiful Dordogne region and a place that we were very happy to come back to each day to enjoy the grounds and town. The staff at the front desk were always friendly and would help us map out our daily itinerary, with great suggestions on what to do and see. We had an amazing gastronomic dinner that was served in the lovely outdoor garden. We stayed in a suite which was excellent. We loved our stay here and if/when we return to this part of France, will definitely stay here again.

  Went in January 2022 and had such a pampered time at this amazing property. Cozy, lovely rooms overlooking its grounds with amazing hospitality and great suggestions for the surrounding area. Highlight was definitely the truffle season that we had the opportunity to enjoy and of course the tasting menu on the ground restaurant blew us away. Even if we didn’t want to dine in, they offered to cook us dishes with any truffles that we had bought at the market not too far away. A gem in this lovely town.

  Over 30 years this hotel has discretely maintained a very high standard. The restaurant is superb, service friendly but very professional. It is great to witness so many younger staff being given a first class training. The newly refurbished rooms are tasteful and hard to fault whilst overall the house, garden and setting remains an oasis of calm
