You won't regret making a little detour to discover this medieval village perched on a rocky promontory. Due to its strategic position the village has had a turbulent history. Despite being besieged several times during the Hundred Years' War and religious wars, lots of the village's historical buildings have miraculously survived : cave dwellings which were occupied till the XVIIIth century, ramparts, covered market, medieval houses, towers and spiders and a magnificent church whose secrets are currently being revealed by the expert restorers.
