GORODKA, AN AUTHENTIC VILLAGE OF ARTISTS IN PÉRIGORD

You are guaranteed to get away from it all... In Gorodka, nothing is predictable: As soon as you arrive you will be surprised by the outdoor installations, but make no mistake about it, the real work of Pierre Shasmoukine's artist can be found in the galleries of art, with more than 600 works: Painting, sculpture, writing - Tenderness, Poetry, Onirism, Humor, Surrealism, Humorous Conceptual are there. From nightfall, 3 nature trails lead you to discover luminous works installed according to the inspiration and more or less crazy desires of Pierre Shasmoukine. Playful games for children and drawing spaces for budding artists, allow parents to visit quietly. Open in July / August from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Possibility to bring your picnic. From 8 p.m., free or guided visit of the Galleries (Tuesdays and Thursday evenings). Don't miss the illuminations as soon as night falls with the giant luminescent sculptures and the dragonfly helicopter that sparkles in the night. Gorodka is a very special village/museum that will appeal to the whole family.

The atypical village of Gorodka is a unique place not to be missed. You can spend a few hours there, for an evening or a few days with the possibility of staying on site (gîte, and guest rooms) with these unusual rentals you can choose the chalet/duplex (80m2 for 4/5 people ) nestled in the woods and its large barbecue surrounded by works. You can also choose the studio (3 people) or small old artists' rooms with picnic area and outdoor kitchenette. Sleeping on site is ideal for escaping into the world apart from the planet Gorodka… The visit of the place and the Galleries is offered with each rental.
