Moulin de Forgeneuve Museums / Arts and Insdustrial Heritage in Javerlhac et la Chapelle Saint Robert

In Javerlhac-et-la-Chapelle-Saint-Robert north of Nontron, the Moulin de Forgeneuve is a traditional Perigordine forge, on the banks of the Bandiat. The gun industry was very important in the region during the 18th century. The forests of Périgord were rich in beautiful oaks and the Royal Navy was in full development. It is therefore an emblematic site of local history.
