- The Cistercian Abbey of Échourgnac is a beautiful religious complex, in the heart of the Périgord countryside. It is a very lively community and involved in local life. In this haven of peace, the nuns patiently take care of refining the cheeses, which they resell in their shop, as well as in many shops in the region. The cheese dairy is part of the private buildings of the monastery. Only the church and the shop are accessible to the public.
