    • Finding its origins in the 13th century, the Moulin de la Veyssière, located in Neuvic, in the heart of the Périgord blanc, is now almost a thousand years old. The last working mill in the Vern valley, we produce oils and flour of character : walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds. Our oils are handcrafted, following family know-how transmitted since 1857.

Between history and gastronomy, our artisanal production is associated with responsible and sustainable production, in perpetual search for innovation and excellence.

As true enthusiasts of our French terroirs, we pay particular attention to the selection of our raw materials. Exclusively from local productions, our production is 100% French.

Our priority is to make you discover our heritage and our know-how. We therefore welcome you all year round at the Moulin de la Veyssière, in a friendly and good mood! We offer guided and free tours of 30 minutes, which will reveal all the secrets of our oils and our history. At the end of the visit you will be offered a tasting of our oils.

And because quality is now a militant act, we have made it our priority. Since 2015, we have been recognized as a Quality Artisan Producer by the Culinary College of France. Our oils have also won awards in various competitions. In particular, we obtained a gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole 2020 for our virgin walnut oil.

You will find all our oils and flour, as well as a selection of gourmet products made in an artisanal way in our shop located in the old bakery of the mill.

Oil production all year round from Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

      The mill welcomes you :

      • From September to June :

      • From July to August :
      - Monday to Friday: 9:30am - 1pm and 2pm - 7pm
      - Saturday: 9:30am - 1pm and 2pm - 6pm

      Practical information :

Free visit, without reservation, free tasting

Fantastic place! Amazing 16th Century tech still working. Very welcoming people who arranged an English tour for us with no trouble. It's only a short visit in the mill but worth it! And you get to sample the oils and it's Free! But there is a great gift shop where you can spend to give a little back. Lovely setting with picnic tables by the river and WC. So.e snacks for sale.

Visiting this old mill is a pleasant experience. There are frequent tours ( in french or english) with a guide who explains the historie of the mill and the production proces of the oil. Very interesting and done while the work is in progress. After that a tasting of the oils is offered and of - course - you can by these tasty products. Highly recommended!
