Very interesting site. There are some small rock dwellings to explore, and a museum with a collection of bones and fossils. The highlight though is a guided tour of a small cave, featuring 17000 to 19000 year old carvings, including a very rare human figure. We were lucky to be in a small group, and our guide was excellent. Well worth visiting.

Very nice home ! The museum is interesting, the cave is small but interesting through the passionate animation of the guide. We did not dare to visit the troglodyte habitat which access is via a ladder. We really appreciated the fact of sharing a moment to observe pareidolies on the rock walls with the guides, while they were on break;)

Good welcome, nice guide but the site is frankly not great... The cave is tiny compared to some, the engravings are not great and seem distorted compared to the said time. Supposedly "scientists" would come every winter and have been for 14 years now, but frankly, it is to be verified, as well as for the authenticity of the works. The most interesting part is the museum where you can see different fossils and different stones although some have been purchased (ex: box of several stones as you can buy in many caves / chasms / shelters) and not found on the site like certain objects/bones/fossils... The management is really disastrous... More than two hours of waiting because of a pond with tadpoles and supposedly salamanders and a snake which supposedly was in lack of water but frankly the person could have done it evening when the cave was closed! There was also a visit in "English" made when it could very well have been made in French at the same time Come in some sites. And all that for only 30 minutes of blablatage and again because the guide spoke slowly, if he spoke normally there would probably be 15 minutes of visit. Supposedly 28 engravings in the site but impossible to see everything because inaccessible, only 5/6 apparent engravings... There is an evening saying shelters used during the Middle Ages but to be checked... In addition, difficult access with markets in a sorry state and a ladder in poor condition and steps including a very high one to climb to a place where the people of the Middle Ages may have taken refuge during the assaults. In addition, the price is extremely execive for what you can see, the adult rate is 7.50€ and for students 6€. BE CAREFUL OF TIMETABLES! The times marked are WRONG, the cave is not open non-stop! Morality, ⚠️AVOID!!!⚠️

Drove all the way here to be refused entry as I have children under 4. Nowhere in my research of this site did it say this. Very disappointed and upset.

This is a very small private cave site, and the tour guide does a great job of showing off their special paintings. This is one of the few sites that has a representation of a human figure (in...
