  Come and enjoy a stay in Thenon, in the Périgord Noir, by staying in one of the two beautiful rooms belonging to the Restaurant Le Petit Gourmand. The rooms are not located above the restaurant, they are quite quiet in a small separate establishment. You can park easily , one of the bedrooms is on the ground floor and the second upstairs. The two spacious bedrooms are equipped in a modern, friendly style. They have a beautiful bathroom, with hairdryer, a TV, free WIFI, a coffee machine and a kettle for making tea! Available all year round, the rooms can be rented with full board (with breakfast, lunch and dinner at the delicious Le Petit Gourmand Restaurant nearby) or with half board. It is possible to do a stopover night !
  
  Thenon is a small town, ideally located to discover Terrassonnais and Corrèze on one side, Périgueux and Périgord Blanc on the other is about thirty minutes away. The Périgord Noir, Montignac, the Lascaux Caves and the tourist and cultural sites of the Vézère Valley are less than 20 minutes away. Come to the hotel Le Petit Gourmand for a stay, a weekend or a break!

I think a lot of people dismiss this restaurant because it's directly in front of the road. That's a mistake. I would recommend Le Petit Gourmand to anyone even remotely in the area. We came on a night where they were understaffed. It was still a wonderful experience. Our server was adorable, the owner is a lovely person, and the food is fantastic. It's also a steal for homemade food. Everything down to the tomatoes in the salad is locally grown. Kudos to the team here.

Really bad experience. The omelette aux cèpes as well as the potatoes were literally drowned into garlic, eliminating all other taste. Furthermore the owner was rude and we waited a very long time to be served. The only redeeming element was that the waitress was nice despite being yelled at by the owner repeatedly.
