  Our five-day stay at Hotel La Villa Romaine was simply wonderful. The location right next to the Dordogne River is idyllic, offering the perfect combination of tranquility and stunning surroundings, and is also a great base for exploring the countless beauties of the Périgord region. The spacious, air-conditioned rooms in the lovingly restored, picturesque buildings are stylishly furnished and inviting. We received a warm welcome at reception upon check-in and felt at home from the very first moment. The service is attentive, warm, and courteous without ever being intrusive – exactly what you would expect from a first-class hotel. A particular highlight is the excellent cuisine. The dishes are prepared with great finesse and creativity using fresh, predominantly regional and seasonal products, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. The sommelier provided us with excellent wine recommendations that perfectly complemented each meal. A hotel that combines hospitality, enjoyment, and relaxation at the highest level. We would love to return – bravo to the entire team!

  Three nights of pure bliss in divine tranquility. The room was of a very high standard. The breakfast lived up to the setting. The restaurant was excellent. There was a pool and garden for relaxation. Thank you for this stay.
