  A haven of peace where tranquility and elegance reign. A superb setting, a beautiful location on the banks of the Dordogne, close to a lovely beach. We particularly appreciated the infinity pool and the various spaces, all furnished and decorated with care. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, although it's a shame the bathroom is a little dated and not up to par with the rest of the property. We also had a wonderful time at the restaurant in the evening. It was refined, with very good service and reasonably priced. A small drawback was the breakfast, which could offer a little more choice (bacon) and quality products for the price. The welcome was also a little cold, but still up to the standard of a 4-star hotel. A very charming and charming stopover to enjoy the superb Périgord Noir. Can't wait to return.

  The place is splendid, tastefully decorated, very well renovated, and very authentic, with many antique items. It's a true haven of peace. There are, however, a few areas for improvement that fortunately don't detract from the experience. * The rooms are very well decorated, but the bathrooms are dated and very 90s. They could do with a makeover. * The breakfast isn't quite up to par with the place, and especially the price (fruit juice, pastries, and industrial yogurts, with little choice). * The manager is cold and unfriendly. I completely understand that not everyone has an outgoing personality, but we're almost reluctant to ask her for anything 😉 These are minor points. The overall experience remains very good value for money, with a lot of kindness and elegance.
