Camping La Salvinie is a 3-star family campsite located 3km from the town centre of Terrasson. Surrounded by nature, you'll appreciate its large, wooded 3-hectare grounds, with direct access to the banks of the Vézère River. Peaceful, welcoming, and with a truly friendly and relaxed camping atmosphere, it's the ideal holiday destination for a family vacation in the Périgord Noir region.

If you love spacious pitches, you'll be delighted! Here, they average 100 m², and XXL pitches are available for those who really want plenty of room. The bare pitches are perfect for tents and camping equipment, but also for motorhomes and caravans.

Please note: Would you like to go camping but don't have any equipment? No problem, Camping La Salvinie offers pre-equipped pitches with tent, gazebo and everything you need to enjoy the joys of camping during your holidays!

52 bare pitches are available, as well as 19 mobile homes, 6 cabins (without sanitary facilities), and 2 adventure-style lodge tents. All rentals are well-maintained, very well-equipped, and can accommodate from 1 to 7 people in the most spacious units. You will benefit from a

private terrace and space to feel like you're in a real little holiday home.

Embrace the spirit and joy of camping. Friendliness will go hand in hand with relaxation during your stay. Everything is designed for the whole family to have fun: a large swimming pool with a jacuzzi area and a paddling pool for children, water slides, all nestled in a lush green and natural setting. Children and the whole family will be delighted to enjoy the outdoor play areas : climbing frames, swings, and sports fields (volleyball, home ball, ping-pong tables). There are also board games, bar games with a pool table and foosball, and a pétanque court. Everything is in place for meeting new people, sharing experiences, and enjoying a friendly atmosphere. A small farm with cute chickens, free-roaming ducks, and goats is also on site. And for some fun while the parents are enjoying drinks with friends, why not take a ride around the campsite in a pedal kart ? It's guaranteed fun!

Note: A summer entertainment program with a qualified and highly appreciated children's entertainer will allow younger children to get to know each other, meet and share moments of games and leisure activities together.

The campsite has a snack bar serving delicious sweet and savory treats, as well as simple but well-prepared dishes for those evenings when you don't feel like cooking. Themed meals, mussels and fries, and Périgord-style meals are offered, and you can order bread and pastries for the morning.

A well-located campsite in the Vézère Valley

The Vézère Valley begins in Périgord at Terrasson and extends to its confluence with the Dordogne at Limeuil. All along this meandering river, charming villages and tourist sites can be found.

Surrounded by our ancestors, the cavemen and prehistory, you're just minutes from Montignac and the Lascaux Caves. A little further on are the charming villages of Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, Les Eyzies, Le Bugues, and even Limeuil. On the other side lies the Sarlat region with the lovely villages of Coly-Saint-Amand and Saint-Geniès, and further afield, the medieval city of Sarlat. The Dordogne Valley is about 40 minutes away, with its gardens, hilltop castles, breathtaking viewpoints, and opportunities for river trips and canoeing/kayaking. Want more? Turn your head, and you're at the gateway to the Corrèze, which also offers exceptional landscapes, natural beauty, and heritage sites.
