With a breathtaking view of the Château de Montfort, our pretty house offers you an exceptional setting and an ideal location for discovering the Périgord Noir, a few kilometers from Sarlat.

Castle life

Our house offers 5 very spacious and comfortable guest rooms, decorated and furnished in the style of the neighboring castles: 1 luxury triple room (2 or 3 people), 4 double rooms (2 people) including a family suite that can accommodate up to 5 people.
Each room includes a private bathroom with toilet, a television, a mini-fridge, and free Wi-Fi access. One room is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
All our rooms are on the ground floor with direct access to the garden and a separate entrance. Three of them offer a unique view of the Château de Montfort, the other two have a private terrace.

Our house also offers three other beautiful rooms to share moments of relaxation and conviviality : dining room, living room, mezzanine library. Outside, our landscaped garden and swimming pool invite you to relax and dream. And if you feel like it, why not play a game of pétanque or ping-pong, or even treat yourself to a massage on site.

The pleasure of the senses

In the morning, to start the day off right, a full and hearty breakfast (included in the room price) is served either in our dining room or in the garden depending on the weather. Four evenings and by reservation 48 hours in advance, we will introduce you to good local products at our table d'hôtes. When you return from your walks, you can also enjoy a refreshment from 5 p.m. And for your day trips, take a homemade picnic (by reservation the day before).

Near the house, you also have the choice of different restaurants that we have selected for you.

An ideal situation

Our guest house La Barde Montfort is located in the charming village of Montfort, appreciated for its tranquility, while being less than 30 minutes from the many tourist sites of the Périgord Noir : Sarlat, La Roque-Gageac, Beynac, Château de Castelnaud, Lascaux Cave, Marqueyssac Gardens, Château des Milandes, Les Eyzies, etc.
From our guesthouse, you can set off on foot or by bike for pleasant short hikes. The Dordogne River is only 1 km away for a canoe trip, a swim, or simply a picnic by the water. Many other activities can be enjoyed nearby: hot air ballooning, horseback riding, etc. We are happy to recommend good places.
