  Do you want to spend an authentic holiday in the Dordogne ? Come and stay in one of the guest rooms of the farm Inn les Marthres. It is in Salignac Eyvigues, a pretty village not far from Sarlat and ideally located for visiting the Black Périgord, that you will be welcomed with a smile by the Manein family. For 3 centuries, this family property has cultivated the land and raised animals. It is a very authentic place where everything is made on site and homemade.
  
  The guest rooms are simple but comfortable and equipped with private bathrooms and toilets, as well as a television. It is possible to enjoy the delights of the Marthres farm inn by opting for half board for a mini rate. You will taste the delicious local cuisine with real Périgord products on an ultra-short circuit ! Breakfast possible on site also at a low price. Take the opportunity to discover walnut oil and farm products produced at the Marthres farm. Do you come with several people? The Inn les Marthres also offers the rental of 3 gites of 90m2 each.

Fabulous 5 course farm and local produce menu for €30. Very good value and the food is excellent. Service, despite it being full, was prompt and friendly. Well done all at Auberge des Marthres!

After making an online reservation trough an intermediary website, we arrived at lunchtime. Immediately we got barked at by what I assume was the owner screaming he didn't have a table to spare. I tried explaining about the reservation we made (in French mind you) but he could only fume and scream at my girlfriend trying to show the confirmation email. I get it, mistakes happen, but his demeanour was absurd, even by french standards. First review i've ever written in my life Just to warn unsuspecting tourists for this rude & unfriendly #@€@. 0/10, would not recommend. He probably won't even make it until next season anyway as his anger and clogged up Ricard-arteries will get the better of him.

We've eaten here several times - Ludo the owner can be a bit of a bear, but that's no reason to steer clear of this lovely setting in the middle of the Périgord Noir. The service is great, the food...
