Here you can devote yourself to your favorite hobby, fishing, but also enjoy the magnificent historical and prehistoric heritage by visiting the Lascaux Caves, Sarlat, Domme, Beynac, etc.

Our site is dedicated to lovers of nature and peace and quiet, two criteria which particularly appeal to fishermen (without any need to have a fishing license).

You can also choose to stay in our accommodations which are close to the ponds.

One has a surface area of approximately 7000 m² (the fishing pond, depth of 2 to 6 meters), the other a little over a hectare, (from 4 to 11.50 meters deep and also intended for swimming and pedal boats).

Since the creation of these two ponds, the ARS (the regional health agency) has been monitoring the water quality and the results classify them in the "very good water quality" category, undoubtedly linked to the springs which feed them from spring and which provide renewal of the water.

This protected and verdant nature has allowed the Dordogne basin to be classified by UNESCO (during the summer of 2012), in the world network of biosphere reserves. This label is awarded to sites which present great environmental richness and preserve their natural balance.

To conclude, the majority of fishermen agree to practice "no kill", this measure is not imposed but this state of mind is very appreciated. Fishermen release their catches, trying to do it in the best possible conditions, so that the fish is not injured and generally using hooks designed not to damage the fish's mouth (for this purpose, there are barbless hooks). It is in fact another more ecological philosophy increasingly attracting another type of fisherman.
