  Great experience with the family! We were camping next door and were recommended this place by our Eurocamp courier so we thought we'd give it a go. We walked round the day before and met with Peter the owner to book for the following day (which is recommended), Peter was friendly and informative and helped us decided on the best route for us baring in mind that we had 2 young children (8 & 5) in tow. Please be aware that it is illegal In France for your child to Kayak/Canoe if they are under the age of 5! On the day, everything went somethly and after the issuing of the equipment (Inc a handy water tight container to keep your possessions safe whilst on the river) we headed to Port Mozard where we were dropped off, the river itself is beautiful and as first timers we were pleasantly surprised how easy the Kayaks were to handle. The children had the best time cruising along spotting the wildlife that the Dordogne has to offer and even stopped for an ice cream at a restaurant along the bank. I would highly recommend Aquafun for all age ranges and experience levels, they really do offer something for everyone Our children have come away with memories that they will never forget.

  Fun day out, they have free parking and take you and the Kayak by bus to the starting point which in our case was Les Eyzies, took us just over 3hrs at a very leisurely pace. We also rented a waterproof containers to take a picnic.

  Fabulous! We were advised to do the 3.5 hour trip by the operator which was perfect for us. A really friendly welcome, great advice on where to stop, a beautiful river, amazing wildlife, a swim and picnic on an isolated beach. We used a two person canoe, it took us five hours with three stops, and on occasions we were enjoying it so much we forgot to paddle! No worries because the river did the work. A must do experience.
