Whether alone, with family, or with friends, with state-certified instructors, we'll share our passion with you in complete safety. From the very first walk, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Céou Valley, then the castles of Castelnaud and Beynac, perched facing each other above the Dordogne River. During a 2.5-hour introductory session, you'll quickly become familiar with all the essential safety equipment for belaying your partner. The instructor sets up several routes, allowing everyone to take turns climbing and belaying. We provide climbing shoes, essential on our limestone cliffs.

Remember to bring a water bottle and a hat, even though the cliff is somewhat sheltered, it can get hot! With more and more people climbing indoors during the winter, we offer half-day (3.5-hour) advanced training sessions that will allow you to try climbing outdoors. You'll be able to climb using a top rope, but why not lead climb on routes of varying difficulty?
