  We hired two bikes - one traditional and one electric - and went along the Green Way to Lalinde. The team at Oxobikes were really friendly and helpful in getting us set up. They even overlooked the fact that we were ever so slightly late back and didn't charge us a full day (instead of a half day)! Incidentally, I'd recommend the route to anyone on holiday here - flat, very green and with good tree cover on hot days!

  Staff very welcoming and it didn't take long to get sorted out for (non-electric) bike hire at a very reasonable price indeed, including a decent quality lock and a can of sealant in case of punctures. It was clearly explained that if this was not used it would not be charged for. Initially there are two kilometres of roadside pavement to cycle before going off onto greenway ( exit onto this not very clearly marked, so got lost Initially ) but once onto greenway it was a lovely smooth tarmacked route with a few easy inclines. After a few kms there is an option to take a short 200 metre detour into the village of Mouleydier where there is a lovely, friendly bar. Went on to Lalinde and then back and returned bikes. The bikes, incidentally, in superb condition and rode well once you get used to the riding position. Highly recommend this bike shop, the only negative being that it isn't in the centre of Bergerac. The website promotes the free shuttle bus to get to the shop but "Get dropped off for free in front of the Oxobikes showroom" is not accurate - the shuttle bus stop is actually some 600 metres after the shop....

  Worst bike rental shop we ever used and we used many all over Europe.Owner over charged us after lying about prices the day before and then aggressively threatened us to leave shop when we questioned him about it.Gave us one crappy lock looked like it cost about 1 Euro for 2 bikes,no map or info about local rides but plenty info about charges for scratches or damage to bikes.Also gave us emergency tyre repair and said you use you pay.I would avoid this place.Worst customer service ever. Ive just read your response and you are the liar.We were polite and greeted you.You were the one who became rude and aggressive to us.Your prices do not state times which you changed from day before.I never mentioned deposit so another lie and my g/f agree that you are the worst rental shop we have ever visited.Zero customer service or politeness.
