- Le Trait d'Union is a unique restaurant/Guinguette/wine bar, nestled away from prying eyes in Vézac, at the foot of the Château de Castelnaud.
  
  We are an address for lovers of local and organic products, both on our lunch/evening menus and on our drinks, wine and cocktail menus.
  We are moving away from the classic Périgord “Tout Canard” by offering homemade dishes all year round, with concerts and various cultural events in the background.
  
  Whether inside in our converted hangar that can accommodate your private events or on our terrace overlooking the most beautiful view of the Château de Castelnaud, come and enjoy a “home-like” service all week long for lunch or dinner , based on a menu that changes with the seasons.

A very warm welcome, delicious desserts, very reasonable prices, a very pleasant atmosphere and decor... I had a truly wonderful evening with karaoke, a very energetic host, and I met some beautiful singers. Thank you!

Superbe expérience dans ce bar où l’ambiance est à la fois originale et chaleureuse. Nous étions installés dans une salle conviviale qui donne immédiatement envie de s’y attarder. Alexandre nous a régalés avec des cocktails créés spécialement pour nous, aussi délicieux qu’inventifs. Mention spéciale pour sa gentillesse et son sens du détail ! Quentin, quant à lui, nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de convivialité : feu de poêle allumé, attentions régulières, toujours le mot chaleureux pour s’assurer que tout se passe bien. Cerise sur le gâteau, nous avons même pu mettre notre musique sur l’enceinte, ce qui a rendu le moment encore plus agréable. Et pour ne rien gâcher, la bière maison est un vrai régal : fraîche, savoureuse, avec ce petit caractère artisanal qu’on adore. Merci à l’artisan ! Un endroit où l’on se sent vraiment bien et où l’on a envie de revenir. Je recommande sans hésiter ! Bisous de La Rochelle !
