L'Escapade des Sens is a restaurant in Thiviers, in the heart of the Périgord Vert region. Chef Nicolas Cousinou invites you to a warm and welcoming gastronomic experience in a setting steeped in history. The restaurant is located in the Hôtel de France et de Russie, a superb stone building, typical of the Périgord region.

Originally from Sarrazac, a small village near Thiviers, Nicolas Cousinou is a young , ambitious chef who honed his skills with some of the greatest chefs. He has opened his own restaurant in Thiviers, a location he chose deliberately, as it's the foie gras capital of the Périgord Vert region. With only 40 seats, he creates an intimate atmosphere where quality takes precedence over quantity. The cuisine is flavorful and seasonal, delicate and elegant in both taste and presentation.

Nicolas is young but very experienced, and he offers a menu rich with his culinary adventures and discoveries. This gourmet restaurant, with its traditional Périgord cuisine yet modern twist, features dishes made with seasonal and ultra-fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Please note that takeaway options are available from Friday lunchtime to Sunday lunchtime, including Sundays and public holidays. A perfect option to enjoy at home if you don't feel like cooking or want to impress your guests.
