It is an exceptional site, near Domme, Sarlat and Beynac.
Nestled at the foot of the cliff which overhangs all its imposing mass the roofs of lauze, the village invites you to walk through its alleys where rural dwellings rub shoulders with noble residences, clinging to the cliff.
The exceptional geographical orientation of the place means that there is a vegetation of the "Mediterranean" type with olive, lemon, banana and palm trees... an exotic garden is also there to testify !
Discover the aerial troglodyte fort of Roque Gageac, built in the 12th century and reinforced in the 17th, before being dismantled in the 18th century. In addition to the ruins of a defensive system, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley, and the castle of Malartrie.
Guided tours of the village organized in high season.
