On the preserved lands of the municipalities of Milhac-de-Nontron, Saint-Pardoux-la-Rivière, Saint-Front-la-Rivière and Champs-Romain, wild orchids grow naturally in spring. Their shimmering colors stand out against this green canvas, formed by meadows and lawns. Botanists, lovers of these rare and delicate flowers, have identified 22 species and a dozen stations, forming the Circuit des Orchidée Yvette Mariaud. To guide you in your contemplation, panels show you the best points of view. As the spots are scattered over a large area, it is advisable to travel by car.
