Sentier des Demoiselles et balade littéraire Charlotte Serre Nature Reserves / Parks in Saint Jory de Chalais

On the outskirts of the Périgord-Limousin Regional Nature Park , north of Thiviers, Saint-Jory-de-Chalais is the birthplace of two authors. Charlotte Serre notably wrote beautiful poems on the Dronne and the Périgord Vert , which she loved. Léonce Bourliaguet was born in Thiviers and was a teacher there, while writing books for young people. Two paths run through the countryside to help you discover the region.

The Demoiselles Interpretation Trail reveals the secrets of the Côle, its flora and fauna, in particular its little stars: crayfish.
