    • There is no better time than May, June or September to take a trip to the Dordogne. The first reason is that the accommodation at the Moulin de David is offered at very low prices.

The second is that all the tourist sites are open and their attendance is still low, which allows you to discover them peacefully, at your own pace. And there are many remarkable sites not far from the Moulin de David campsite.

The two closest are the fortified town of Monpazier, listed among the "Most Beautiful Villages of France " and the remarkable Château de Biron, one of the four baronies of Dordogne. These two sites are so close to the campsite that they are accessible on foot via hiking trails.

You can also enjoy the peace and quiet of the 16 hectares of the Moulin de David to relax and take advantage of the campsite's facilities. From the campsite's high season opening, services such as the grocery store, on-site baking of bread and pastries, the bar and the brasserie are operational.

Over sold under delivered, yes out of season but no daylight, depressing, wish we could have found somewhere else but the only camp site near Montpazier. Walk to Monpazier not that great, really disappointed, if you’re open you should be open…….. irony is not a good look in your reply

At some campsites, you can stay with dolphins; here, you can stay with mice. I highly recommend it if you were planning on doing the ratatouille ride at Disneyland.
