Nature cottages on the farm in Périgord Pourpre: La Grange des Anges
In the Périgord Pourpre, south of the Dordogne Valley, a few minutes from Beaumont-du-Perigord, Stéphanie invites you to discover her 2 gîtes, located in an old barn that has been completely renovated. This traditional building of the rural landscapes of Périgord, hides within it 2 independent and comfortable vacation rentals for 4 and 6 people. The family agricultural estate that surrounds the property consists of 60 ha of cereals and vines. For 5 generations, Stéphanie's family has been producing red, rosé and white wine. The land is cultivated organically and you will enjoy walking around the farm to meet the animals, if you wish.
The Douce Campagne gite can accommodate 4 people (2 couples or 1 family). It consists on the ground floor of a pleasant, spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchen open to the dining room. You will be warmly installed in the living room, on the sofas surrounded by beautiful stones. The decoration is cosy, elegant and functional , numerous storage spaces allow you to organize yourself during your holidays. Upstairs, two attic but large bedrooms, as well as a bathroom with separate WC. The first is a double bedroom with 160cm bedding and the second, a bedroom with 2 single beds, which can be transformed into a large king-size bed of 180cm if necessary.
The Rouge Tanin gite (in homage to the vineyards on the property), is larger, it can accommodate 6 people with its 3 bedrooms. The first is on the ground floor and equipped with a double bed, upstairs 2 other attic bedrooms are respectively with a double bed and two single beds (which can be transformed into a double bed if 3 couples occupy the gîte). Two bathrooms are available (upstairs and on the ground floor) as well as 3 toilets. The large living room hosts the open equipped kitchen, the dining room and comfortable sofas.
The two cottages are each equipped with a pellet stove because the holiday accommodation at La Grange des Anges is available for rental all year round. In winter, you will be warm in these renovated and perfectly insulated houses, heated by the gentle heat of the stoves.
Each cottage also has a private covered terrace, equipped with a jacuzzi / spa inside the old renovated barn. Exposed beams, high ceilings and traditional stone walls... It's a space of well-being in its own right, an extra room to enjoy at any time of the day. Of quality, entirely adorned with wood and installed on a wooden terrace, the spas are beneficial after a day of sightseeing, in the evening, maximum relaxation is guaranteed.
The lodgings have some outdoor space in common, including a friendly garden of 500m2, with games for children (swing, table tennis, hut, table football). Several outdoor spaces allow you to sit down for a meal, enjoying the splendid view of the surrounding countryside. Do not hesitate to dig into the pretty garden of herbs to enhance your meals with good Périgord products ! A very beautiful common covered room is available, with a cozy and comfortable country decoration, tourist brochures, board games and bicycles to share are available to holidaymakers.
La Grange des Anges is ideally located for exploring the Dordogne, but also the Lot-et-Garonne and the Lot, which are very close and ideal for a day trip. Many tourist sites are open to you in the Dordogne Valley, gardens, castles, charming villages, barge or canoe trips. The immediate environment is natural and many hiking and mountain biking trails will delight nature sports enthusiasts.
