Le Clos de Saint Maime, charming guest rooms between Périgueux and Bergerac
Anne and Denis invite you to a moment suspended in time, for a quiet stay in their magnificent guest house. Located between Périgueux and Bergerac, in Saint-Maime-de-Péreyrol, the Clos de Saint Maime is nestled at the top of a hill, in a quiet dead end.
Two guest rooms are at your disposal as well as a Duplex. The 3 benefit from an independent entrance, for your autonomy and your intimacy. The rooms are on the ground floor, they have comfortable bedding, a very neat and elegant decoration, each with a spacious and comfortable bathroom. The Duplex is a small studio completely redone on 2 floors, with a living room / living room downstairs and the bedroom upstairs.
The accommodations have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning for your comfort during the hot summer days.
At the edge of the superb swimming pool, a wooden outbuilding accommodates garden furniture and a summer kitchen. You will be independent to prepare good meals. Breakfast is also served (included in room rates) is served in the dining room or on the terrace. Denis, as a Breton, will concoct delicious pancakes for you, to accompany homemade yogurts, fresh bread, fruit juice, eggs and bacon. The enclosed garden is a haven of peace and greenery to rest after a day of visits and discoveries of Périgord.
Le Clos de Saint Maime is ideally located to explore the Périgord. On one side Périgueux, its Saint-Front cathedral and its old town classified as a City of Art and History. On the other Bergerac and its vineyards as far as the eye can see. You are not far from the sumptuous Vézère Valley, with its renowned heritage and cultural sites, its natural landscapes and its cliffs to explore. Come canoe or barge on the rivers of Périgord ! The Dordogne Valley also offers you very beautiful visits in perspective : its perched villages like Domme and Beynac, its castles, gardens, the river which meanders and guides you within it.
Wifi is available throughout the guest house and a large car park will allow you to park your vehicle. Note that it is possible to rent the 2 bedrooms and the duplex, to have the exclusivity of the guest house.
