  In a Périgord residence from the 18th century, come and escape for a moment in one of our 5 charming guest rooms : facing south towards the swimming pool, (most on the ground floor), they have independent entrances. Linen, stones, wood, natural materials for decoration create a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.
  
  Breakfasts are served on the terrace right next to the swimming pool or in the large living room depending on the weather: jams, yogurt, fruit juice, brioche perdue, cakes are made "at home", Varied breads coming out of the oven, fresh seasonal fruit... Almost every evening, you can dine on site while feasting on home-cooked specialties with local products. Nearby, village restaurants await you as well as the lively streets of Sarlat, pretty restaurants, artists and artisans in the summer...
  
  Halfway between the Dordogne valley and the Vézère valley, the house is located in the center of the main historical attractions of the Périgord Noir : Sarlat at 10 minutes, Lascaux at 15 minutes, the Dordogne valley at 20 minutes or Rocamadour at 40 minutes… but also more secret exceptional places which mark the beauty of the Périgord Noir : we will be happy to show them to you!
  
  On site, you will enjoy a swimming pool (14/7) surrounded by a large one hectare park. Paths from the house invite you to hike: you can go to the marvelous Eyrignac gardens for a bucolic walk and of course also canoeing, golf, horse riding, tree-climbing… nearby for sports enthusiasts!

The hosts, Anouk and Gilles, welcomed us very spontaneously as we didn't have a reservation. They had a perfect room for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) and even allowed kids to try the pool. The rooms are very clean, organized, nicely decorated and luxurious towels and linens. They helped with a table at a restaurant. Breakfast was perfect with things homemade and very friendly. They took time to talk with us and get to know our kids. I wish we could speak more French, but their English is very, very good. Everything was perfect. The property is like a dream and very well maintained. The stay at Les Granges Hautes was the highlight of our 2 week road trip for everyone. We will come again and highly recommend to stay if you want a very authentic B&B experience with a very warm and friendly French couple. Thank you sooooooo much!!!!!! Merci Beaucoup!

We had the most wonderful time! The location is great, the place is beautiful, and was exactly what we needed to make our stay in Dordogne perfect. Anouk and Gilles are such kind, courteous and helpful hosts. What a pleasant experience!!

We have stayed 3 nights in the gite , and I have to admit it was one the best places we have ever seen, very clean, spacious and wonderful surroundings. Anouk and Gilles were always available to everyone, all the advices been given it's what we needed to enjoy the Dordogne. Anouk and Gilles loves to make everyone happy with pleasure without any commercial smile they were natural and lovely couple. Thank you so much for making our stay unforgettable and definitely we will be back and stay in your lovely place again. Shérif
