Welcome to the Campagnac estate, located in Carsac-Aillac, a small village in the Périgord Noir, a few minutes from the medieval city of Sarlat. You will be welcomed by Isabelle and Pascal, in one of the 5 guest rooms of the domain. Nestled in a green setting, on the heights of a sunny, intimate and well-preserved hill, the Campagnac estate is a place of high standing, to relax and spend vacations in Dordogne in the middle of nature.
Please note: A delicious breakfast is available at an additional cost. Composed of freshly baked artisanal bread, soft pastries, homemade jams, fresh orange juice and a wide range of hot drinks. It will wake you up with delight, before a day of walks and visits in the Périgord Noir.
5 prestigious guest rooms are available, installed in a group of several charming buildings all renovated, without opposite and with an independent entrance. The rooms are equipped with a large private bathroom, with separate toilets. Each room is decorated in a particularly elegant way: they are all different, in a friendly but refined "country chic" style. A quality king size bed will provide a restful sleep, always with freshness because a reversible air conditioning is installed, for the comfort of all. The Campagnac estate is open all year round and pleasant in all seasons. The rooms are not available for rent in July and August, but it is possible to come to the estate during this period by staying in one of the gîtes or in one of the unusual perched cabins.
PRESTIGIOUS GUEST ROOMS
The rooms "Brume de chaleur" and "Brume de sable" occupy the first floor of a splendid tobacco drying shed, a typical construction of the Périgord countryside. A third room "Brume de rêve" is located on the first floor. Entirely renovated with ecological and noble materials, this building of great standing has a private heated swimming pool (from May to September) with overflow. You will enjoy sitting on one of the deckchairs, facing the sumptuous view of the estate. If the water temperature remains too cool, you will have the possibility to immerse yourself in a warm water with bubbles, in the private Jacuzzi®/spa. A sauna is also available to guests in the Campagnac estate wellness area. The rooms located on the first floor are attic, very spacious with high ceilings revealing the beams of the building. Le Séchoir has the cachet of these warm, traditional, timeless places while being renovated to offer maximum modern comfort. All the furniture, toiletries, decorations and lighting are of high quality or custom-made. The place radiates a sense of tranquility that will charm you for a timeless vacation.
The "Cocoon" and "Opaline" rooms are located in an old sheepfold, also entirely renovated. They benefit from the same high standard of services, a private bathroom and separate private toilets. The Bergerie is made of traditional Périgord stone and is part of an old farmhouse that overlooks the grounds of the estate. A few meters away is a large private heated swimming pool (shared with the rooms and 2 other gîtes when occupied) with a view on the countryside, as well as a wellness area with a professional Jacuzzi®, a treatment room (possibility to order massages) and a traditional wooden sauna.
THINGS TO DO AROUND THE Campagnac estate
Particularly well located, the Campagnac estate is the ideal place to explore and make quality visits only a few minutes away by car. If the Périgord Noir is known for its fantastic gastronomy, which you will enjoy discovering in Sarlat and through the many small local producers of the region, it is also the host of the Dordogne Valley and the Vézère Valley. The Dordogne Valley offers you the pleasures of grandiose visits of perched villages, medieval castles, bucolic gardens ... While the Vézère Valley, the Valley of Man, will amaze you with its cultural sites around prehistory such as the Lascaux Caves, its rock shelters and troglodytic ensembles, its Most Beautiful Villages of France ... The department of the Lot is only a few kilometers away : in all directions, the landscape and the heritage are attractive ! After a beautiful day of visits, you will be pleased to come back to the Campagnac estate to rest at the edge of the swimming pool, to appreciate the silence of this rather magic place, as if suspended in time... A very restful stay awaits you, received as distinguished guests by Isabelle and Pascal.
