- Campsite Le Verdoyant is located in the Dordogne, at the entrance of the Vézère valley and the Périgord Noir, 12km from Montignac and Lascaux IV. Also close to the Hautefort Castle, the Cave of Tourtoirac, the Losse Castle and the Fortified House of Reignac.
  
  Wide choice of accommodation: simple location (tent, caravan, camper), very spacious (up to 400 m²), rental of mobile homes, chalets, and equipped tents.
  
  You will be welcomed by Véro and Christophe in a friendly family atmosphere with a maximum of services at your disposal as well as two fishing ponds!
  
  Small +: Sale of mobile homes and cottages in the year.
  
  So ready for an unforgettable vacation? The campsite is open from April to September.
  
  The residential zone (rental and sale of chalets) is open 11 months (closed from 31/10 to 03/04).

We have owned a property opposite camping le Verdoyant for 3 years but never used the bar and restaurant because I read a review saying that the owners don't like the English, we have been here for the last 3 weeks and probably been to the bar about 8 times and eaten in the restaurant twice and have found the owners to be polite and helpful, the beer is a good price and the food is good, we have 2 boys 6 and 9 and there is plenty to entertain them with football and park area. I am so glad we decided to try it this stay as it makes it nice to join in with the French while they are on holiday. The caravan park area looks really good with plenty to do. Wortha visit

First the positive. This campsite did have a very nice large pitch area with lots of shady area's. Next the negatives. The owner hates the English, and is not afraid to show it. He was very rude to my wife on multiple occasions and we felt very unwelcome. They have all the different flags except the Union Jack and we were told by someone onsite he does not like the English. We tried to book in to another site but they were all fully booked. Also the pool has no shallow end so no good for small children and the toilet / shower area was not nice and very unpleasant. One to avoid!

Calm, green, fits the description of an oasis. You can fish, enjoy the swimming pool and dine well. Food is made by the Véro part owner and also chef. Owned and run by the lovely couple Véro and Christophe.

A really well laid out spacious camp sit. Big pitches, in the sun or in the shade. Good toilet facilities ( but would wonder if they could cope if site was full???) Friendly proprietor and wife...

Lovely country spot with verdant trees and ponds and animals everywhere. But we were a bit disappointed at first as there was no reception. Had to call to find we were expected to park ourselves...
