  Outstanding food that is a little different from the normal fare of the region. The restaurant is run by a lovely couple who obviously have a huge commitment to high quality food, who have recently taken over. They have their own smoker and so we had slow cooked smoked beef that just melted, homemade pastrami, homemade trout gravelax and smoked bone marrow, all outstanding. We also had beer brewed by the family, which was excellent. Service was brilliant, especially when attending to the children, making sure that they are first. Be sure to phone ahead and book as they only have a few tables.

  A wonderful couple who work harder than most restauranteurs I have ever met, the food was superb, the local Artisan Beer was excellent and the setting was perfect. Thank you for squeezing us in without a reservation, we had a wonderful evening.
